The saying that “all politics is local” was once again demonstrated at the APC Joint General Meeting of Agege LGA and Orile-Agege LCDA, held today, 8th May 2026, at Central Primary School, Oniwaya Road, Agege.
The gathering witnessed a massive show of solidarity and grassroots support for the Lagos State House of Assembly member representing Agege Constituency II, Hon. Abdulkareem Jubreel, fondly known as “Jubi 02.”
Party faithfuls from different wards and communities trooped out in large numbers, proudly adorning yellow caps boldly inscribed with “Jubi 02,” creating a colourful and energetic atmosphere that dominated the venue throughout the meeting.
The overwhelming turnout of party members — young and old, male and female — served as a clear testimony to the strong connection and confidence the people have in the leadership and representation of Hon. Abdulkareem Jubreel.
The atmosphere was electrified with solidarity songs, chants, and enthusiastic displays of loyalty as supporters openly reaffirmed their commitment to protecting and defending the mandate freely given to their preferred candidate.
The event further highlighted the importance of grassroots participation in governance and decision-making, reaffirming that the strength of any political movement lies within the people at the community level.
Supporters described Hon. Abdulkareem Jubreel as a responsive, accessible, and people-oriented representative whose performance continues to inspire confidence among party members and constituents across Agege Constituency II.
The meeting ended on a high note with renewed unity, enthusiasm, and determination among APC faithfuls to continue supporting the party and its candidates ahead of future political engagements.
