Prominent government officials, family members, friends and associates on Thursday gathered in Lagos for the wake-keep ceremony of Mrs. Bose Ajibade Agoro, wife of Mr. Abolore Agoro of the Protocol Department, Governor’s Office, Lagos State.
The solemn event attracted top personalities from the Lagos State public service and political circles, who came to sympathise with the Agoro family and pay tribute to the deceased.
Among dignitaries present at the ceremony were the Lagos State Head of Service, Bode Agoro; the Wife of the Lagos State Governor, Ibijoke Claudiana Sanwo-Olu; and the Captain of the Body of Permanent Secretaries, Sunkanmi Oyegbola.
Others in attendance included permanent secretaries, directors, senior government officials, political associates and close family friends, who described the late Bose Ajibade Agoro as a caring and devoted woman whose life impacted many people positively.
Prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of her soul, while speakers at the event encouraged the bereaved family to remain strong and take solace in the support and goodwill shown by sympathisers.
The gathering was marked by emotional tributes, hymns and words of encouragement as attendees reflected on the life and virtues of the deceased.
Mr. Abolore Agoro and members of the family expressed appreciation to the Lagos State Government, colleagues, friends and well-wishers for their support, prayers and presence during the difficult period.
