LOCAL GOVERNMENT, LCDA REAFFIRM COMMITMENT FOR IMPROVED PRIMARY HEALTHCARE CENTRE IN HEALTH DISTRICT IV

In a continuous bid to improve the quality of the primary healthcare centres in Lagos State health district IV. The permanent secretary Lagos State health district IV Dr Abimbola Bowale, and the management team pay a courtesy visit to Surulere Local Government, Yaba LCDA and Itire Ikate LCDA.

The Chairman Surulere Local Government, Hon. Sulaiman Bamidele Yusuf, said the council has done a lot in the area of health to improve the life of our people and we shall continue to do more, by providing standard medical equipment and make drugs available in every of our facility for the benefit of our people.

Hon. Kayode Adejare Omiyale, noted that the council recognise that a healthy community is the foundation of sustainable development, by improving the infrastructure the council is planning to build a world class standard hospital for the people of Yaba LCDA and provide standard equipment for operations, and he is ready to support and assist the health district IV, so as to provide good and quality medical health care for the people living in our community.

In same vein, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo show his gratitude to Ministry of health and the primary healthcare board on the project  impact primary healthcare revitalisation of Airways primary healthcare centre. He said this impact project is with the aim of enhancing access to quality healthcare services within the community, he noted that health is key in his administration.

The Permanent Secretary Lagos State Health District IV, Dr Abimbola Bowale,in his remark, expressed gratitude to the chairmen for their support and investing in the primary healthcare centres and the people of their community in the area of healthcare services.

The Permanent Secretary facilitate with the council chairmen on their election and reelection victory.
