----Plans to mobilize 3500 leaders from across LG lcda in Lagos state

The Lagos State Directorate of Christian Affairs of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has intensified its grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections, with coordinators across senatorial districts, local government areas and LCDAs urged to strengthen their structures for effective political engagement.
The mobilisation meeting, held on Tuesday at the organisation’s Secretariat, 7B Oduduwa Way, Ikeja, Lagos, focused largely on the accreditation of coordinators, presentation of action plans and strategies for strengthening the directorate’s grassroots operations.
The meeting, which commenced at about 12:10 p.m. with more than 30 minutes of intercessory prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, KOH and Nigeria, was presided over by the Director of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Lagos State Directorate of Christian Affairs, Rev. Dr. Sam Ogedengbe.
In his welcome address, Ogedengbe commended the coordinators for their commitment and support to the directorate, urging them to remain dedicated to the organisation’s objectives.
He encouraged members to work diligently towards securing what he described as a decisive electoral victory for PBAT and KOH in the forthcoming elections, assuring them that their commitment and contributions would be recognised and rewarded.
The meeting also featured the introduction of participants and the announcement of Senatorial District Coordinators for Lagos West and Lagos East. New coordinators from various local government areas and LCDAs were also unveiled, while some existing structures were reorganised into smaller units to enhance coordination and grassroots effectiveness.
He also urged coordinators of LGAs/LCDAs to intensify on Church to Church sensitisation and mobilization.
A major component of the meeting was the accreditation of coordinators. Participants submitted their respective action plans, which were reviewed and positively received by the leadership.
The Secretary subsequently announced the names of accredited coordinators on the nominal list, with those present confirming their attendance.
As part of efforts to enhance public communication and mobilisation, jingles produced by the directorate were played during the meeting and received positively by participants.
Administrative matters were addressed by the Director of Administration, Primate Akindele, while further deliberations took place during breakout sessions involving the various senatorial groups and the Women’s Group.
The meeting also featured media engagements, with members of the directorate and selected coordinators interviewed by the organisation’s Media Team. The proceedings were simultaneously streamed live.
