The Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) has congratulated the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Chief Tayo Ayinde Akinmade, on his 62nd birthday, describing him as a dependable public servant and a key pillar of the administration.
In a congratulatory letter dated August 24, 2026, signed by the Chairman of CICAN, Taiwo Ademola Hassan, and the National Secretary-General, Olufemi Orioye, the association commended Ayinde for his years of dedicated service to Lagos State and his contributions to the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
CICAN acknowledged Ayinde’s commitment, loyalty, administrative experience and dedication to public service, noting that these qualities had distinguished him as a reliable government official.
The association particularly highlighted his role as Chief of Staff, where he has been involved in coordinating government activities, strengthening relationships between the executive arm of government and various stakeholders, and supporting policies and programmes targeted at promoting economic growth, good governance and sustainable development in Lagos State.
CICAN, which comprises more than 100 journalists across the print, broadcast and online media and has been in existence for nearly four decades, also commended Ayinde for his openness and support for the media.
The association said his disposition towards the media and stakeholders had contributed to creating an enabling environment for business and industrial development in Lagos State.
While celebrating the milestone, CICAN prayed for continued good health, wisdom, strength and renewed grace for the Chief of Staff to enable him to continue serving humanity and contributing to the development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
The association further wished Ayinde greater accomplishments, fulfilment and prosperity in the years ahead.
“Once again, CICAN family congratulates you on your 62nd birthday,” the association stated, while reaffirming its readiness to strengthen media partnership and contribute to efforts aimed at building a vibrant and sustainable Lagos State economy.
The congratulatory message was jointly signed by the CICAN Chairman and National Secretary-General.
