The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Lagos State Chapter, has congratulated a former Chairperson of the association on her appointment as a Member of the Advisory Council of the Institute of Corporate & Public Sector Professionals (ICPSP), describing the recognition as a testament to her outstanding professional accomplishments and exemplary leadership.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairperson of NAWOJ Lagos, Jumoke Falayi Johnson, and the Secretary, Anu Thomas, the association said the appointment reflected her unwavering commitment to excellence in journalism, public administration and professional service.
According to the statement, her impressive career trajectory—from serving as Chairperson of NAWOJ Lagos to becoming Special Adviser to the President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), as well as Head of the Public Affairs Unit at the Lagos State Printing Corporation—demonstrates her exceptional leadership qualities, strategic vision and capacity to deliver impactful results.
The association expressed confidence that her vast experience and expertise would significantly contribute to the achievement of the strategic goals of the ICPSP, particularly in advancing professional capacity development, strengthening institutional excellence and shaping impactful public policy.
"Your well-deserved appointment is a reflection of your distinguished career and remarkable contributions to the media profession and public service. We are confident that you will bring your wealth of knowledge and experience to bear in this important national assignment," the statement said.
NAWOJ Lagos also expressed pride in the appointment, describing it as a source of inspiration to women journalists and media professionals across the country.
The association wished her continued wisdom, grace and success as she assumes her new responsibilities on the ICPSP Advisory Council.
