Christian leaders in Lagos State have commenced mobilisation and voter sensitisation efforts in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The mobilisation meeting was held at the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Headquarters in Lagos and brought together Christian leaders from across the state.

Addressing participants, the Director of Christian Affairs of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Dr Sam Ogedengbe said the meeting was convened to coordinate support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the election of Dr Obafemi Hamzat, alongside other APC candidates.

He explained that the gathering was aimed at assigning responsibilities to members across all local governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to ensure effective grassroots mobilisation during the election period.

According to him, representatives were selected from each local government and LCDA and tasked with returning to their respective churches and communities to encourage eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate actively in the electoral process.

The director urged members to enlighten their congregations on what he described as the achievements of President Tinubu's administration and the reasons they should support his bid for a second term.

As part of the meeting, local government coordinators were officially appointed to lead mobilisation efforts for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and other APC candidates in their respective areas.

The organisers expressed confidence that the grassroots campaign would strengthen support for the party and encourage greater voter participation across Lagos State. explained that the gathering was aimed at assigning responsibilities to members across all local governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to ensure effective grassroots mobilisation during the election period.
