The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture is set to host the grand finale of the 2026 Eko Schools Arts and Crafts Competition, an initiative designed to promote creativity, innovation and artistic excellence among young talents across the state.
The event, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, will feature outstanding participants drawn from secondary schools and tertiary institutions across Lagos State.
The competition, which provides a platform for young artists and creatives to showcase their talents through diverse forms of artistic expression, has attracted impressive entries in various categories, including artworks and sculptures.
According to the Ministry, submitted entries were carefully assessed by a panel of professional art curators, with winners emerging for scholarship awards and other recognition prizes in appreciation of their outstanding creative efforts.
The grand finale is expected to bring together stakeholders in the creative industry, educators, students and government representatives to celebrate the role of arts and culture in youth development and the growth of Lagos’ creative economy.
