The Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Ikorodu Federal Constituency have commended workers across the constituency for their resilience, dedication, and contributions to community development, as Nigeria marks this year’s Workers’ Day.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the group, under the leadership of Comrade Japheth Odesanya, described workers as the backbone of societal progress, noting that their daily efforts continue to sustain growth and development within Ikorodu and beyond.

Odesanya praised the commitment of men and women across various sectors, emphasizing that their sacrifices and industrious spirit remain critical to the advancement of the constituency.

“As we celebrate Workers’ Day, we acknowledge and deeply appreciate the invaluable contributions of our workforce. Your dedication continues to drive our collective progress and development,” he said.

The group also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that promote workers’ welfare, create employment opportunities, and encourage sustainable economic growth at the grassroots level.

According to the statement, RHA remains focused on empowering residents through inclusive programmes that align with national development priorities.

The group further expressed optimism about the future, urging residents to remain steadfast as efforts continue to improve socio-economic conditions in the constituency.

“As we advance the Renewed Hope Agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we are confident of a brighter and more prosperous future for Ikorodu and Nigeria as a whole,” the statement added.

RHA also used the occasion to extend goodwill messages for the new month, wishing residents renewed strength, greater opportunities, and continued success in their endeavours.

Nigeria celebrates Workers’ Day annually on May 1 to honour the contributions of workers to national development.
