Lagos State Executive Council members are set to render accounts of stewardship of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat administration in the last one year, with a month-long Ministerial Press Briefing commencing on Monday, May 11, 2026.
The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, made this known in a statement, copy of which was made available to newsmen, saying that planned Ministerial Press Briefing, organized by his ministry and being an annual event, provides an important platform for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to present the achievements of the present administration "across various developmental pillars of the THEMES+ Agenda" to the good people of Lagos State.
According to Omotoso, the occasion is an opportunity to engage with Lagosians on the bold efforts at improving the welfare of all, saying that this year’s edition is particularly significant as it precedes the 2027 General Elections.
The commissioner said the exercise would enable the public to assess the performance of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat administration, appreciate the milestones recorded and get an insight into the plans for a Greater Lagos.
