SFEOWI Schedules National Prayer Meeting, Press Conference for Tinubu’s Second-Term Campaign

A political support group, the Society for Enhancement of Women Integration (SFEOWI), has announced plans to hold a national prayer meeting and press conference to formally launch its campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The event, scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2026, will take place at the ASO TV Complex, Katampe Hill (via Berger Axis), Abuja, beginning at 2 p.m.

According to the organisers, the programme is designed to mobilise grassroots support and galvanise women across the country in backing the second-term bid of President Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.

SFEOWI, whose motto is “Digging Out Hidden Golden Votes,” said the initiative forms part of its mission to deploy door-to-door ambassadors who will canvass support for the administration at community levels nationwide.

The group’s Director-General and Convener, Alhaja Adijat Fatoki (Olorunkisun), explained that the national launch would mark the beginning of a coordinated mobilisation effort aimed at strengthening the political base of the President ahead of the next general election.

Fatoki noted that women remain a critical voting bloc in Nigeria’s democratic process and must be actively engaged in shaping the country’s political future.

She added that the campaign would leverage grassroots advocacy, community engagement, and voter sensitisation programmes to expand support for the administration.

Also expected to play a key role in the initiative is the National Secretary of the organisation, Prof. Ridwan Adeyemi, who said the group’s strategy would focus on community-level interactions designed to reach voters who are often overlooked in conventional campaign structures.

Adeyemi stated that the prayer session and press conference would also provide an opportunity to outline the group’s nationwide mobilisation plan and encourage collaboration among pro-Tinubu support groups.

SFEOWI has invited members of the public, the media, and various pro-Tinubu support organisations to attend the national launch.

The group further disclosed that similar mobilisation activities would subsequently be replicated across states and other sub-national levels following the Abuja launch.
