Sanwo-Olu Unveils 2025/26 Ibile Youth Ambassadors.

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has officially unveiled the winners who emerged as the State and Divisional Ambassadors from the fifty that participated in the one week Boot Camp Residential Training Program.

The brief ceremony which took place at the Lagos House, Ikeja, today was attended by the Deputy Governor,Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat,top government functionaries, members of National Youth Council of Nigeria (Lagos State Chapter) and members of the Lagos Youth Parliament.

At the unveiling ceremony,Governor Sanwo-Olu assured the youths in the State of continued support in terms of formulation and implementation of programs and policies that would not only further enhance their leadership capacity but enable them to compete favourably on a global scale,adding that some of them would be given opportunity of traveling oversea for leadership training.

In his remarks,the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mr Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende stated that the Ibile Youth Academy is a flagship program of the Ministry aimed at equipping the young people with knowledge, values and skills required to excel as leaders in any sphere of life they find themselves.

Similarly, the Permanent Secretary Pharm (Mrs) Toyin Oke-osanyintolu stated that the Ibile Youth program is to further demonstrate the unwavering commitment of the Ministry to youth development which aligns with the THEMES plus Agenda of the present administration.

Adetomiwa Banjo emerged as the State Youth Ambassador;Osuntobo Oluwabunmi is the Ikeja Divisional Ambassador;Waliat Sulaimon is Ikorodu Divisional Ambassador; Abigael Hungbo is Badagry Divisional Ambassador;Ayomide Dacosta is Lagos Divisional Ambassador; and Layole Sumayyah is Epe Divisional Ambassador.They are all expected to execute pet projects that would address societal challenges in their various divisions.

The Ministry presented cash gifts and Letters of Commendation to outstanding members of the outgoing cohort while Governor Sanwo-Olu also promised the forty four members of the present cohort that could not emerge as winners consolation gifts.
