All Road lead to Abule- Egba, venue of Chief Ifagbemi Adedotun Fajobi Celebratiion of 70th Birthday with Cultural, Spiritual Gathering

Prominent traditionalist and community leader, Chief Ifagbemi Adedotun Fajobi, will celebrate his 70th birthday on March 28, 2026, with a grand spiritual and cultural gathering in Lagos.

The milestone celebration is expected to attract traditional worshippers, cultural enthusiasts, family members and well-wishers from across Nigeria, in honour of the revered Araba of Musin Land.

According to the organisers, the event will begin with a special Ijo Orunmila Adulawo spiritual programme at 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a reception in celebration of the septuagenarian.

The ceremony will take place at FF Meritage Resort Ltd., 11 Agnes Adeniran Street, Off Risikat Majaro Road, U-Turn Bus Stop, Abule Egba, Lagos.

Chief Fajobi, who is widely respected in traditional and cultural circles, also holds the title of Araba of Ikereku Oke-Ona Egba, Abeokuta, and has played a significant role in the promotion and preservation of Yoruba traditional religion and cultural heritage.

Family members described the celebration as an opportunity to appreciate his life of service, leadership and dedication to community development, cultural values and spiritual guidance.

The colourful event is expected to feature traditional rites, cultural displays and musical entertainment, whileBahir Adisa (Baba Gboin) will serve as the Master of Ceremony.

Guests attending the ceremony have been advised to appear in white and gold attire, in line with the dress code for the celebration.

Organisers said the event will not only mark Chief Fajobi’s 70th birthday but will also serve as a  gathering of cultural custodians and admirers of Yoruba traditional heritage.
