Lagos State Health District IV organized Onboarding Exercise for her newly recruited health Attendants and health Assistants into the service.

The Permanent Secretary Lagos State Health District IV, Dr. Abimbola Bowale, represented by the Director Administration and Human resources, Mrs. Titilola Seriki, noted that the Onboarding Exercise was suffused with a strong sense that in most states tides of opinion were putting the concept of civil service or at least the performance of civil servants under more sceptical challenges than would have been.

The purpose of the Onboarding Exercise is to expose the health Attendants and health Assistants to civil ethics, the moral principles and standard of conduct that guide civil servants in their duties, emphasizing honesty, integrity, accountability and loyalty to the public interest rather than private gain, that character is the overall building in the service.

The Onboarding Exercise took the health Attendants and health Assistants on a civil service code of ethics, outlines professional conduct for public officials, promoting principles like accountability, honesty, impartiality and public interest to foster public trust and ensure effective governance and performing duties lawfully, treating people's fairly, avoiding conflicts of interest and serving the public with diligence and respect.

The Onboarding Exercise code of ethics took place at Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall, Surulere Local Government on the 4th of February, 2026, will help the health Attendants and health Assistants to build a public trust, prevent misconduct, guide conduct and to promote good governance

The representative of the Permanent Secretary Lagos State Health District IV, Mrs. Seriki Titilola guided the health Attendants and health Assistants on how to fill and complete the Lagos State Government staff performance Appraisal and Development Report at different levels.
