As part of activities marking her 100 days in office for the second term, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area, Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, on Tuesday commissioned four newly completed road projects across the council area.

The projects — Adetuberu Street, Isaac Omole Street, Temitayo Obisanya Street and Olowo-Ira Road — were opened to the public in continuation of the week-long celebration of the Mayoress’s achievements in her second term.

Speaking at the event, the Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure, Hon. Dayo Bush, who was ably represented, performed the commissioning of Adetuberu Street.

Similarly, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, represented the Commissioner to commission Isaac Omole Street, while Hon. Yetunde Arobieke, former Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, commissioned Temitayo Obisanya Street and Olowo-Ira Road.

The Mayoress said the completion of the four road projects underscored her administration’s commitment to infrastructure renewal, inclusive governance, and community development.

She assured residents that more people-oriented projects would be inaugurated before the end of the week in furtherance of the Renewed Hope agenda of the council.

The event marked Day Two of the week-long commissioning activities, which continue on Wednesday with the unveiling of another completed project.
