Ayetutu Emerges Lagos NIPR Chairman, Vows to Make Chapter a Household Name

The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has elected new executives to steer its affairs for the next two years, with seasoned communication professional Samuel Ayetutu emerging as Chairman.

The election was conducted on Thursday during the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the chapter, held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Victoria Island, Lagos

Other elected officers include Eniola Mayowa (Vice Chairman), Samuel Adeyemi (Secretary), Rita Ali-Nock (Assistant Secretary), Oguchukwu Okeke (Public Relations Officer), Bassey Nta (Financial Secretary), Olabamiji Adeleye (Treasurer), and Funmilola Akintola (Welfare Officer). Segun McMedal and Comfort Nwankwo will serve as Ex-Officio (Internal Auditors).

The executives were sworn in by the NIPR Registrar, Uzoma Onyegbadue.

In his acceptance speech, Ayetutu expressed gratitude to members for entrusting him with the leadership of the chapter, pledging to foster unity and elevate its profile.

> “When I talk about uniting the chapter, I am talking about bringing the different sections within Lagos NIPR together to work for our collective progress,” he said.

“We also want to ensure that, by the end of our tenure, Lagos NIPR will have become a household name.”
