Engr. Chief Olawumi Gasper, MNI has been unanimously elected unopposed as the new CHAIRMAN of the prestigious YORUBA Tennis Club on Friday 30th May, 2025 during the Annual General Meeting of the club.
Engr. Gasper, who was also the immediate past vice-chairman of the club, a former Rector of Lagos State Polytechnic and also former chairman of Head software Polytechnics in Nigeria and one time the President of ULDA Construction Training Academy and Executive Secretary, Lagos State Tecnical and Vocational Education Board( LASTVEB).
He thanked the Chairman BOT, ALHAJI Dr. Lateef Olufemi Okunnu SAN, CON. Trustees, patros , vice patrons, past chairmen, elders, the motivator , Chief Dr, Oluyomi Finnih, for his support and advice at all times , and entire members of the club.
Engr Gasper disclosed that he will uphold the traditions, norms, and culture usage of the first indigenous Club in Nigeria for the betterment of the brethren of the club.
Also elected were the Vice Chairman, Sir Babatunde Sobamowo, and Hon. Lookman Oladipupo-Kotun as the new General Secretary of the club.
